what's wrong with the nag screen? it doesn't cut the audio does it? i don't think it's right to distruibute donationware,maybe someone knows where antti is?

i need a good round robin bongo machine,surprised there aren't more around,i'm trying mildons' otobongo which is good but keeps doing random flams,which i didn't really want atm.

anyone know one?

Oh there was no hope to getting any of them back/recovering stuff, The best try was a good friend mounting them inside similar to identical enclosures (For the external dead ones) along with some sort of Linux thing that can get at things but nope. Most of them wouldn't even be read/acknowledged by his rescue setup. I suppose that for money I could of sent them somewhere but really if he couldn't snag much then I doubt they could of/would of either

spacedad mate, I can at least say that even though I was gutted and angry, There was nothing on them that was of such sentimental/impossible to replace material on any of them like you lost of your Son's early audio.

We are in the same boat on our fulltime jobs but still I can only imagine how gutting it is for you not to have those anymore. Mine are not really interested in audio/music so I've never had chance to record/capture any of them, I wish that changes over the years though

I did teach my youngest how to fire up Live and get some synths going plus drag in loops...etc. Still one day I wish they will want to pursue music/audio in some way. I just wait with all the patience in the world

my boy won't sing anymore atm,12.but little one 6,just give him a mic and he'll sing.but very different to other one,more gentle and serious and in tune.older one used to crack me up,shouting loads of funny shit.

got some great stuff from a friend's kid, was bang into
it and seemed to know exactly what to do (dad's a dj).
have to let them come to it when they're ready and develop
an interest. either that or they'll go off and become
merchant bankers...

you show them things that blew you away, like seemless
Live looping, and they go, yeah what? my (gameboy) can do
that...
