I love the Japanese '75 7.5 IPS. It's not subtle. You have to tame it with overbias/spectrum, but it does something I really enjoy.

He knows the plugins are worth much more than he is asking for them so there is most likely a good reason why they are so cheap. Probably the dude is "donating" his expertise, time and awesome plugins for the greater good of the music producer community! :)

Or he is slowly but surely building a massive library of awesome plugins and counts on people getting addicted to them.. like a crack dealer he slowly but surely empties all our wallets! :help: :hihi:

Instead, why not get one of his plugins that you feel like you absolutely need. Have you tried his FlX plugin? I find it remarkable! :D

Cheers!

Yeah, well by donate I meant, buy a plugin unseen and untested, that I may or may not want in the future, but I probably will..

eh eh ;-)..

I bought FlX a good few weeks ago. It is truly phenomenal. It does what it says on the tin, as they say, but so much more wickedness. An exceptional plugin.

I also have Barricade and Isone, so I guess that just leaves EBULoudness, which I just have to get at some point too. It's not like collecting cards or anything. These are all very serious tools that no one else is doing at this quality at this price. In fact EBULoudness is one of the most generous plugins ever. It is superb.

Next stop - the Track Essentials bundle.

I will definitely get that, even if it is just to be a collector. Actually, I want the TB Module. That alone is worth the price of admission.

I bought the TB ReelBus on your recommendation bmanic. I haven't even tried it out yet. Yet another plugin you say is good. I'm stalking you and your plugins - that is pretty obvious by this point. :) But like all the great Voxengo plugins you turned me on to, I can only say 'thanks'.

When I buy a plugin that you say is good, and I find it out to be bad, well, I guess I'll just stop right there. It's like having a mate at the bookies, whose horses always come in...

Plus I know that Jeroen is a DSP wizard that focuses his attentions carefully...

Cheers.

@Theo - Definitely something I would use on tracks rather than a full mix. Maybe, give it another try on bass, guitar, drums and keys.

I might try the "kramer" if it goes on sale, but the slate one is a dingly dongly which means no.

I guess I'm the lone lunatic who loves ReelBus on the bus. :)

Not to be spammy, but I used ReelBus on the stereo mix of every tune on both albums found here:

http://andrelafosse.bandcamp.com

I compared it with and without, and totally adored what it did.

I'm not arguing with anyone who doesn't dig sound of the plugin (or the music :D ), but I wanted to offer an honest alternative to the "ReelBus is no good on the 2-bus" line.

No you are not. As a owner of VTM, and Reelbus i can tell you i like it a lot. And i tested extensively UAD and Nebula tapes(absolutely love UAD ampex and poo on UAD studer).

Of all worst was (for me of course) Kramer VTM which does not sound anything like a tape to me and it just goes too fast in to obscure distortion. Sometimes in rare cases i liked it but it was more like a mushy mix destroyer to me. I know i know many people like it but for me it isn't a case.

I tried Reelbus on my 2buss many times and my mixes definitely sound worse

without it :-)

I think Professional 30 is pretty clean and subtle with proper gainstaging and does no harm for transients.

Everyone who says that it sounds bad...is wrong. You sound bad and your lack of knowledge.

I worked over 15 years with real tapes and I can say, imo, that this plug in is closest to the real thing together with VTM. Ok, let's go brag more who has more experience.
