So far it doesn't get along very good with Studio one Pro 64bit :(

It keeps crashing it, especially when loading / removing / replacing Phalanx or Phalanx replacing another instrument etc, or when closing S1.

Definitely not impressed so far

S1 never ever crashes for me

I just had the same experience this morning but I blamed it on me rushing the install and give it a quick first run! Will test it again tomorrow. Damn time is precious I don't really want to bug hunt.

Mine is a PC

For example Nexus2 works perfectly and pretty much every other synth I have.

I've inserted it in existing trial project, now I started new test project, loaded GM drumkit so I can just drop in a MIDI drum track, it works pretty good, just opened second instance with arp, and third instance with a pad, was all good, but again when try removing it or delete track and instruments that is on it crashes S1 immediately, so definitely something that doesn't get along with S1. I'll try fiddling with it in Cubase 6.5 a bit later or Reaper see if any issues.

no one will be able to help you here, but we can
just write your problem to our technical support
today or tomorrow a small update is planned which will remove hopefully all bugs, which can always occur on 1.0 versions. No worrie, we will be fixing everything as fast as we can and will not rest until it works on all computer configurations 100%

I think this sampler looks fantastic. Is there a list of the presets/sample content that comes with it?

@ Theo

the loop tool will be able to slice and rearrange loops. I am no friend of timestretch (especially on loops) at all, since it totally destroys the transients and timing of a loop, no matter how high quality the (realtime) algorhithm is. Trust me, never timestretch a drumloop, you should just PITCH it to make it faster of slower.

@ Theo,

I'm sure the e-licenser is stable and all. But I forgot to mention, another reason why I went for the ilok originally was that I knew I'd be buying some Waves at some point.

But little did I know, they changed their damn system to a regular USB licenser. :( Which is kinda' cool in a way, because I can use any one that I have here, and don't have to buy yet another bespoke licenser.

I will say one thing about the ilok, while I dislike the concept of a dongle overall, I've never had a problem with V2. Okay, a few hiccups when they changed their software recently. But the tech support was great and it was easy to fix.

Sorry to hear that you had trouble with yours tho'.

Any more details on how you can do this? I saw the transient markers in the video but couldn't get an idea of how you'd be able to rearrange the loops. Thanks!

you can stretch vocals with Phalanx (even using long vocals in a sampler is not really clever)
just go on the loop page, select a small loop window, set it on start of the sample, assign mowheel to it, so it scrolls via modwheel to the end. Done
you can specify with the tempo of the modwheel automation, how long the stretch should be. You can pause / freeze anywhere you want or move it backwards in time. Like you want. There are some presets in the library which already are pre-routed to this

basically yes

but seriously, a complete vocal hook played by a sampler is a very very very bad idea.
its 1000times better to let your sequencer play your audio vocal track and stretch and edit it there.
