Peter, ObiK, a question about the iLoud: It says it'll come with an iRig. Any chance of getting an iRig HD instead? And/or a package deal with a BlueBoard? All three of those look sweet.

-- Oh, wait. Just read more carefully. The iRig circuit is built-in? Is it iRig original or HD?

Tom, it is original iRig. I don't know if we'll be offering "bundles" with other gear, but if not I think the BlueBoard and iRig HD are definitely priced well within reason (especially with iRig HD looking to be the first Lightning guitar interface, saving people with iPhone 5/iPad 4th gen/iPad mini $30 for not needing an adapter).

Thanks, Peter. A lot of it's gonna depend on pricing -- I'm on a limited income. ;) I know you haven't announced the prices yet (although, if you have and I missed them, please aim me to them) but I'm hoping the iLoud and the BlueBoard are within reach. If not, I'll likely start with the iRig HD and pick up the BlueBoard later.

At this point we're looking at $99.99 for iRig HD and iRig BlueBoard (each, of course). I'll keep you posted on iLoud... we're also posting NAMM videos some of which give ballpark figures for some of the gear, here's one on iLoud

Oh. Hell. Yeah.

Yeah, you got the price point for those two goodies. And now I'm really not sure about iLoud vs. iLoud Mini. Oh, darn, I'll just have to wait till they're out and try 'em both.

I can guarantee a BlueBoard in my future.

Just got iRig midi today myself. Tis a bit of a shame it doesn't sit perfectly flush but no biggie.

Initial impressions. I do find the midi in stops working sometimes though. I think mainly if I have a synth app running, if i go and shut the app down completely, then the midi in seems to stop working, only way to get it working again is to unplug the iRig and connect again. I also find I have to have the midi cable plugged into the iRig first, before plugging the iRig into the ipad for it to work.

That aside when a synth app is loaded and its recieving midi in its been rock solid so far. Great to finally be able to use midi keyboard to play notes and modulate, rather than touching the screen.

I haven't heard about plugging the MIDI cable into iRig MIDI first as a workaround, but there have been known issues with a certain iOS update forward where 30-pin MIDI devices (not just iRig MIDI) will have this issue with apps and we're also looking into anything we can do to help improve it though it is something happening to more than just iRig MIDI.

@Exit Zero That is strange behavior for it not to charge your iPad. Please contact our Tech Support so we can help you get this straightened out.
Can someone recomend a 30 pin Extention Cable that works for the Ipad1?
Bought an 'Xtreme 3ft Sync/Charge Extension Cable', but it does not work..

Don't Work.
