I'm not a fan of cats as pets, not that kittiens aren't cute and all that, more so that (imo) anything that doesn't actually need you to survive isn't really a pet, but more a tenant.

Cats (at least adult cats) seem to make do all by themselves as long as they aren't locked up somewhere.

JohnnyG said it best. The one "serious" thread we had lasted about a week. Then since there is of course nothing to talk about, it died and withered away. Interest in bitwig is kept alive by cats.

If a thread at a music production forum requires an endless number of cat photos to remain active, perhaps it should not remain active..

I mean, while entertaining, KVR isn't designed for our general entertainment... it is not our playground to act like amused 12 year olds..

I don't see why you can't take the thread to everything else or off topic and continue on with the humor? It is funny at times, but it is not valid news or information for the Hosts forum. And since this is in the Hosts forum, it pops in the latest posts list because, typically, there are useful threads/posts in Hosts. Typically.. this waste of a thread is a big exception..

It's so true though. All the titter-inducing shenanigans I should have been pulling when I was 12 (but was too scared and straight laced) I'm doing now, at 48. Heaven's be praised that KVR and the Google-netz are finally here to provide me with a way to express my inner klown!

Please explain why it shouldn't be moved? There's been a peppering of posts actually about the software in question here and there and the other 80% of messages in this thread have been humor. That's great (and yes it has been really funny at times) but why do you think it belongs in the main Hosts forum? It is an Offtopic or Everything Else thread.

No one is asking you to stop.. But, instead have the 'party' moved to the rightful place.. in Studio 54 (aka Everything Else or OffTopic).

And I'm not posting in the other one because there's still no updates and it got buried... as it should have.. since there is no news..

Well, I dunno though. I'm 48 too and it's like, I just use kvr as 75% gearaholic, 20% humor and 5% communication. Like I said, there was a "serious" bitwig thread that nobody posts in anymore, if people don't like the shenanigans as you put it, go there
