Like the Phalanx pictured below, Phalanx vst is 16 rows wide (samplepads) and 8 deep (effects slots):

One thing to note, it appears the sample content is 44.1 KHz and 16 bit, although I'd expect it to be 24 bit these days.

making them 24bit would not change anything, but taking double size on your HD.
Some devs create "a bigger size" of their libraries with that "trick".
But it does absolutely NOTHING quality wise to the samples

(there are plenty of 16bit vs 24bit conclusions on the web btw)

How can I "add" my Metrum, it's greyed out and says "(Missing AddIn)"? Same with my VPS MB Sidechain.

you just need to install the newest versions of all V-Plugs, then launch then 1 time in the usual way in your sequencer. Then they will be available to open in Phalanx.

new update released: VPS Phalanx v1.0.2

- DrumKitMode with looped samples will stop sample correct now.
- fixed a problem where a voice did not stop correct causing voice counter to increase
- fixed a problem where adjusting the Pitch-Envelope-Flip parameter could crash the DAW.
- fixed a problem that may lead to random deadlocks while loading phalanx

the new EFX Bundle update will have some new functions, for example 2 EQ bands for the Impulse Reverb. Coming soon

and good news: we decided, that the price for EFX Bundle and MBC will stay at 99€
It fits better in our product price range, since Phalanx is released now.

I'm wondering though, how do we find out about any updates for the multiband, metrum, and stereo effects.

I never get any emails.

we announce it via FB since 60% of the emails came back because of spamfilters/blockers

you may also check Vengeance-Sound / plugins / updates from time to time, there is a changelog and the date of the most recent version as well as the dl link

To anyone who owns it or anyone in the know: is there a selection of basic waveform samples like square, saw, noise? Any supersaw waveform

Anyone else who bought Phalanx, question...

I am using the Dubstep kit "Bank Mirko Dubstep1" also "Bank Mirko Dubstep2" in ableton Live 9.02 32 bit.

This is just a drumkit, but I get building CPU usage that never seems to go down, eventually it just becomes unuseable.

Re-loading will kill the cpu usage but that is not very appealing to me...

Can someone else verify this?

I'm using 1.01 version.
