I have some dumb questions I'd like to ask

It looks like it's x64?

Is it compatible with ableton live?

I guess I could just try it but though I'd ask.

I know, but ableton has an option for an external editor and was wondering if this would actually be compatible. I know I've tried external editors in the past on some hosts and they don't save the edited file or is just a pain.

Ah, sorry... yes, I spaced on Ableton having that feature, I've not had occasion to use it.

It's now available a new version of ocenaudio, the first release candidate (rc1).
Many bugs were fixed in the last versions, and now ocenaudio is getting closer to the version 2.0 final.

The actual version of ocenaudio remains free (no-cost) in the final version.

How can I convert 24bit audio to 16bit?
Does ocenaudio has "Bit depth converter" at all, or I just can not find it ?

You may apply a quantization in the audio (in the menu Effects > Special > Apply Quantization).

Just found this, awesome, excatly what i need for ableton.

Really could use a few things though:

tab/shift-tab for next/prev transient.
shortcut to delete audio/insert silence without moving rest of the audio.
shortcut to snap to zero cross. (or better yet, an option to to this by default)

Is there an update log somewhere? I get curious about fixes/additions for each release.

Also, it does work fine with Live.

Oh, and I see it is x64, I was worried that running an x86 version with live 64 would be an issue.

Just installed this 2.01 and now it no longer recognizes 5.1 surround or 24-bit PCM files...
