It does, but I'm sure it's for real.

What might be the real problem here is that they opened up about it far too soon compared to when they could actually deliver. Not good from a marketing perspective as they would have done far better working privately for 2 years then having a huge marketing push in the run up towards the v1 release. I think in many ways they've screwed themselves, but we'll see.

I do believe that putting out the notice was the big mistake here. Hopefully it works out in the long run.
