I'm sure that some of us have jumped onto installing iOS 7 BETA against all warnings not to

I'm pretty sure they are both the same person, but I'm not sure which one is Tyler Durden....

Back to the topic though... Good news everyone, most of my apps "came alive" after restart/reboot or two - including AudioBus and I'm happy to report that iOS 7 seems to be holding strong.
Will install it "Clean" on my secondary iPad and will see if I can improve the compatibility list.
Please don't "smash" me for testing iOS 7, results could be beneficial and crucial to everyone
Kind regards,

While I can't justify "hostile" I understand their point.
The expectation that anything will work with iOS 7 is ridiculous. I always hate these timesI have because the app reviews become flooded with comments, like "WTF - worst purchase ever. Doesn't work with iOS7 OMG!OMG!" and the reality is like you say... It's in beta, which means app developer are possibly prepping their software to work "HOPEFULLY" whenever iOS 7 is released, but keeping in mind that during beta releases, changes can and probably will happen to the OS. So... something that works during one beta release might not work in the next beta release.
I have no sympathy for anyone not a developer, but simply an over eager user, that finds their favorite XYZ app doesn't work with a new operating system that has just recently been released to developers while in beta.
Use iOS 7 at your own risk AND again... keep in mind that anything that works during the current beta, might not work in the next beta.

I think it is beneficial for as much testing as possible to be done by as many people as possible, so that the bugs and issues can be worked out as quickly as possible. I'm no longer an early adopter like I used to be years ago, but I'm glad that there are people like yourself who is able to test and find the issues so that they can get fixed.Leslie wrote:Thanks heaps for your supportaudiojunkie wrote:...and you're welcome to follow your own advice.....or be less negative all the time.BMoore wrote:Next is, you log out, and never come back. P.S. I've only got a single iPad 2. I wish I had 4 iPads!

Maybe I've missed a different thread somewhere.... Admittedly, this is the only thread I've seen where someone is actively and knowingly beta testing iOS 7 against the apps we all rely on and use with our devices. I, personally, am glad to see this taking place, and haven't seen any indication that Leslie is doing anything other than testing and reporting what he finds.elxsound wrote:While I can't justify "hostile" I understand their point.

Excellent news that SquareSynth does work on iOS 7Bphasor wrote:I agree with both points of view. It's worth keeping track, but dont expect ANYTHING to work in an iOS beta. SquareSynth does work with iOS 7 beta, currently.
Meantime, I'm sad to say that one of my fave apps - Alchemy "bombs" on start up
Onto better news though...
So far: Sunrizer, Addictive synth, Arctic Keys, Cassini, Crystal XT, DXi, Epic Synth, Grain Science, Magelian, minisynth2, Nave, Nlog Pro, WaveGenerator, Auria, Cubasis, NanoSynth, BM2, GB, Meteor all working fine and that includes AudioBus.
Still have a lot of apps to go through, so bare with me please
Kind regards,
Leslie
PS; Next i will like to test MIDI and Audio compatibility with external devices.
Keep you all posted of my findings... TBA
BTW; Thanks heaps for words of support,
Kind regards,
Leslie
