making them 24bit would not change anything, but taking double size on your HD.
Some devs create "a bigger size" of their libraries with that "trick".
But it does absolutely NOTHING quality wise to the samples (there are plenty of 16bit vs 24bit conclusions on the web btw)

I think if you use compression on samples that would bring up the noise floor making it possible to hear the difference.

yep, for the dancefloor you maybe dont need less noisefloor / more headroom.

yes, Phalanx need a minimum screen resolution of your computer of 1282x914

Hmm I bet my MacBook Pro will have problems then. I have 1400x900 on that (pre-retina)

The GUI scale will be my only option, but I will live with that...

- fixed a problem where inverting phase of a sample could cause a crash
- fixed a problem where voicecounter increased constantly while in metrum-freeze mode
- fixed a problem where parameters of frozen metrum are not editalbe on the pad.

Installed Phalanx on the MacBook Pro (i7 non retina, 15") and phalanx just about fits on the whole screen. Bottom is cut off slightly.

Manuel, will there be any preset additions that are free or will they all be paid?

well, at refx we sometimes do a free xp for our customers around xmas. Dont know yet for phalanx, but its definately possible
