Oh yes, one feature that seems to be missing:

Caps Lock Keyboard.

FARK! That is one of the genius features of Logic, I hope I'm wrong!!!!!!

Agreed. I use it all the time when I'm too lazy to reach over and connect my controller. Can someone verify this?

Thank you a lot for the info on the environment, and if it is true about caps lock keyboard, I truly hope that they will put it back ASAP! What's with that? Are they using caps lock for something else or is it just a stupid decision?

Just looking at the manual: the look is updated to GB style (Musical Typing), but still there. Cap lock keyboard shortcut still exist it seems unless it's a mistake.

I can't see upgrading any time soon. I'll buy a new controller or something instead. v9 does it all for me and the new iFriendly facelift is a real let down. Looking forward to seeing how others fare, though.

FYI - MacProVideo already has a "New Features" tutorial for Logic X. Watching it now and some of the new features are very cool.

No worries. It's called "Musical Typing" as mentioned above, basically borrowed from Garageband and needs cmd-K instead of capslock. Tried it out & it works fine.

Hmm. I was hoping when I saw that arpeggiator that they'd updated the AU spec to include native MIDI out of plugins - so you could use tools like AD's Axon, or Cthulhu or Reaktor's Spiral Sequencer like you'd think you should be able too, but I guess not.

Maybe Apple's new arp is merely the same old environment hack you could always do, but with a shiny UI.

That's... not great.

I know that question wasn't for me but tbh i'm not expecting anything in Logic Pro X cause i'm a newbie to mac and the program but i'm sure looking forward to the next few years learning it.

too quick for me to tell but sheesh, you can resize exs24 and they didn't even bother to increase the resolution of the graphic interface so its super blurry. WTH? Its pretty and all but hmmmm.... Maybe there is a long line of enhancement waiting in line... I hope. One new instrument, retro backwards style. Was really hoping for some new kind of granular functionality.
