1. Complete the 6 stages of Registration here: http://de-de.sennheiser.com/service-support/drummica
by selecting >DrumMicA >Registration
2. Upon completion of Registration, a link will be emailed - click on this and use the email & password used for Registration
3. A menu option of >Profile is shown and then click through for >Download and >Request Serial
If this us a reply to me and Thomas Helze, the German isn't an issue (I assume he is as fluent as I given his name and location), but the fact that the link doesn't do anything at all.

Well, I already have Kontakt 5(and 4, and 3, and 2) and lots of other libraries registered, so I don't know how to check since I don't really need to qualify for anything?EvilDragon wrote:Yes, K5 only, and for Kontakt Player libraries in 99.99% of cases WAV files are not accessible, they're packed to NKX monoliths.Zombie Queen wrote:So this is K5 only? Are wav files accessible?
@koolkeys - IIRC all Kontakt Player libraries qualify for crossgrade. Not sure, though. Easy to check when you register this library.
I was under the impression that ALL Kontakt Player libraries qualify, as you said. If that is the case, this could be a cheaper way for somebody to get Kontakt without getting Komplete.
And Zombie Queen, please note that while this is for K5, you can use the player. So you don't need to own K5 to use it.

Hard luck, I suspected a monolith, but wanted to confirm.EvilDragon wrote:Yes, K5 only, and for Kontakt Player libraries in 99.99% of cases WAV files are not accessible, they're packed to NKX monoliths.

I'm on Win XP and I want to keep it that way for a while. XP is no longer supported by K5, it works, but it has made some mess in my Kontakt libraries, so it's kind of a no go for me.koolkeys wrote:And Zombie Queen, please note that while this is for K5, you can use the player. You should really consider moving to W7. Everything worked much better and faster for me when I switched. Not to mention the benefits of a proper 64-bit OS... XP x64 was hacky and badly supported...Zombie Queen wrote:I'm on Win XP and I want to keep it that way for a while. Define "some mess with your libraries"?

EvilDragon, I have W7 on other machines, I see no advantages unless I want more than 4GB ram, for which I would have to go 64 bit, not worth the trouble I think. XP works blazing fast and trouble free for me and I find W7 sluggish and irritating, I guess I would have tweak the hell out of it to make it fit, which I would have to learn how to do... Again not worth the time. But let's not go off topic.
As for "mess with libraries", it somehow made Session Strings disappear, wouldn't show up, wouldn't load, reinstalling didn't help... I just rolled back and accepted the fact. At least I don't have to consider, if it's worth upgrading K4, which really is more than enough for me.

All worked fine on Win8 and firefox.
Once registered you get a confirmation link, log on and click registration(in german) and you get the serial.
Launch NI service center, enter and your activated.
Not sure why people are having issues tbh

Can't log into account from Win 7 64. Have tried Explorer and Chrome and neither one works. Hmmmm. BTW, do I even need serial if I already have full Kontakt 5? (not just K5 player)

Registration link not working here either... it just seems to reset the page. I will try again in a few hours I guess.
I don't need more drums but damn this looks like a nice freebee.
