Can anyone recommend a studio grade multifx with audiobus support?
I'd kill for an 80s style modulated reverb

The dev behind a bunch of apps like Audioshare, Yellofier etc is working on new effects for Audiobus, reverb being the first one. Also IK Multimedias Vocalive gives you one free effect when downloading it, reverb (and a delay if registering). Sounds good to me, dunno about being able to modulate that one tho.
These are all the apps I know of that works as modular multi-effect units in Audiobus fx slot "studio grade" or not, (no clue really about being able to modulate any besides the ones that can receive midi cc's like Turnado etc),...
Turnado
LiveFX
Level.24
Sunvox
Stompbox
JamUp Pro / Pro XT
Magellan / Magellan Jr
Galileo
nLog
Glitch1
Echo Pad
(Plus prolly IKMs various effect apps, and Ampkit but haven't tried those)
They all work as modular multi effect-units, there are a bunch of other fx apps but not modular/multi as far as I know. Go to www.audiob.us and check the effect section and it will bring up all the effects available to date.
Edit: If you're talking about really high-er end plugs, Auria with its awesome convolution reverb unit and the various plugs available from companies like FabFilter, PSPAudioware and so on would be the only choice available right now in an iOS/Audiobus setup.

Boy that Auria convolution reverb is so tempting, but can't afford it. I hope someone puts out a standalone version of a convolution app.

Thanks.
Though I'm trying to avoid to all in one approach. I wanna use this thing as a instrument than daw.
I think I'm going to hold out for a while till someone like audio damage or sound toys come to the party.

Ok thought you meant multi effect units. Anyway I saw that a new reverb effect unit with full Audiobus integration was released a few hrs ago. I don't know how it sounds, but there's a free lite version. The app is $20 , with a cheaper basic version at $4.99.
https://itunes.apple.com/app/ad-480-pro ... 15926?mt=8
Edit: Really quick test with the free version and it sounds really good to me (on crappy speakers tho). The pro version seems to have some really extensive control capabilities implemented, so modulation etc should work ?

I'm not familiar with a modulated reverb, is it possible you're referring to a modulated delay?mooninjune wrote:Can anyone recommend a studio grade multifx with audiobus support?
I'd kill for an 80s style modulated reverb
If not can you remember any examples of a modulated reverb. I love to research stuff like that.
I still have a lot of my Alesis rack gear from the 80's like the Quadraverb and the QuadraverbGT. I'll probably never use those things again either.
And hey, if you're serious about the "kill for an 80's effect" part, PM me. I have this brother-in-law that needs to have an unfortunate accident.

Hey that looks good, but it's so new, (ver 1.0) that I usually hold off until an app has had a few updates... Or a salechris1a wrote:Ok thought you meant multi effect units. Also noticed the poor grammar on the iTunes description area.
Not a good sign IMO, but I'll keep an open mind.

Their site www.future-audio.com could use some help with the translation as well:
"Over a year of development is coming to an end.In about two weeks, the time finally comes to release our Future Audio brand and we already have a product that will blow you."
I've heard that they do dub even the pornos in Germanyland so I won't hold a few translation problems against em lol...I'm sure someone will help em out tho with the app description if their apps are successful.

Is livefx any good?

The reverb is not good in LiveFX IMO, I guess it maybe serves it purpose in adding a touch of reverb/delay mixed in with all the other effects going. It got that metallic sound to it. As a multi effect unit that's a bit more geared towards electronic stuff (a la LiveFX) I would go with Turnado. Anyway, unless they removed it there should be a free version of LiveFX to try out.

Does Animoog also sound good to you, on crappy speakers?chris1a wrote:Ok thought you meant multi effect units. They don't want to have to go through Auria simply to use its FX, they just want to use an FX app....BMoore wrote:mooninjune wrote:Can anyone recommend a studio grade multifx with audiobus support?

....and the best bet as things are today is definitely Turnado....
