I am wondering though...
Apple dropped 32bit support - but what about jBridgeM?
Does that still work?

Granted, if you speak German, the humor will be utterly non-existent. You have to look at it from the point of view of someone who doesn't speak a word of it and is relying on the sub titles alone to translate. On another level, if you think it's disrespectful to the gravity of the real situation with Hitler in WWII, I understand the sentiment but disagree.Ingonator wrote:Maybe it more funny for those who don't understand the whole audio (or have seen the whole movie) like me.skipkent wrote:God bless whomever did the Hitler video a few pages back. If you want a sneak peek of a couple of new (revisited to hyperspace) features here's a video I made earlier today:

Hope it's helpful,
all features from the old Logic are there (see transport bar for example "midi in display + chord in") you need to simply navigate and activate stuff into menus.
for Sylenth1 I read somewhere here on KVR Leannar is working on it , in the meantime you can do a very simple thing:
Jbridge it, then Fxpansion Vst to Au and you should get something like this:

Mainstage can act as a ReWire Master, so any host that can be a slave it will work with, Live, Reason etc.BDeep wrote:True, but you can't use the plugins in another host...George wrote:Nope. With Mainstage you get all the plug-ins and 40 GB content too.frejahel wrote:Do you need to also own Logic to be able to use Mainstage and all its plugins?
I plan on using it with Live for performance, since Live has never really addressed how to change AU's, MIDI assigning, and sounds for each song, unless you close the Set etc.

Can somebody who owns Logic post something (some music that is) done completely with Logic's stock instruments? I have no clue what they sound like in the real world.
Something simple, just maybe grab a Standard Midi File cover song or something and run it through stock Logic instruments. Preferably not EDM, trance, etc., but Pop, Jazz, R&B, Rock, whatever. Just curious.
Thanks.
P.S. Also, does Logic export OpenTL? That's the only kinda standardized format I can read in my other DAW. Thanks.

Can someone comment on the general useability of X? Does it still feel sluggish and non-responsive as 9? Should I stick to Live?
I really like the Logic work flow and sounds better then LIve. But don't want to sink 200 if the overall "snappiness" isn't improved. I did read Theo's review, but would like others feedback.
Thanks!

I don't know if I should be proud or sad since I always seem to find the first bugs within 10 minutes of testing a new software. So: open a couple of windows (Arrange & Event List for example), plus any plugin window. Go to another screenset and back again, or simply refresh the first screenset by pressing its number. The window positions are messed up. It's the plugin window that causes it, without it everything works fine. This actually brings back horrible memories from the early PC versions of Logic, where windows kept moving a little bit into the same direction every time you came back to a screenset, which meant you had to regularly drag them back where they should be...
Another thing: the Waves SSLChannel/SSLGChannel plugin windows often have their graphics messed up (never saw this in Logic 9). Changing the interface to "Controls" and back again fixes the problem for a while. Haven't seen this behavior with any other plugins yet.
And one more very small but strange thing: in Logic X, Virtual String Machine's manufacturer (and thus its parent menu in the plugin list) is "GFor", instead of "GForce", and its version number something it clearly shouldn't be. However, the plugin itself seems to work just fine, and GForce's M-Tron Pro has the correct manufacturer and all (which they both have in Logic 9). Strange stuff.

Is Fxpansion vst to au bit independent? Can you run it in a 32 bit or 64 bit host so long as your plugin is 32 bit or 64 bit ?xanderevo wrote:If you want a sneak peek of a couple of new (revisited to hyperspace) features here's a video I made earlier today:

Can someone tell me if LPX now finally supports midi out on AU pluggins?
How do you setup the arpeggiator, with a soft synth, so that you can record the arpeggiated notes to the same track or to a different midi track?
Is it possible to for example, to have a arpeggiated notes copy of a track with strings on a separate track, to keep both the original one, and a arpeggiated version one?
I can't figure this one out at all after trying the arp with built in soft synths and reading the manuals.
