Yes it is possible and implemented by a lot of plugins, check out Poise if you wish to see it working.msvs wrote:no. I am not sure, but I think this is technically not even possibleDoes Phalanx send sample names to the host?

Anyone else working with cubase 7.0.5 on Mac OSX 10.8.4?
In the release notes of version 1.0.3 the following is mentioned as being added/fixed:
- added drag'n drop from Cubase Media Bay & Arrangement Window(incl. region!).
But I'm still not able to drag'n drop an audio file from an audio track, pool or media bay into a sample slot.
Anyone facing this same issue??
Benito

VPS Phalanx Version 1.0.4
- added Gui-Scale feature.
click the magnifier in the top left of the gui.
select a scale. close and reopen the editor.
now the editor is scaled.
Attention, 66% is not "mathematical" optimal so it may reduce gui performance, better choose 75%.
for Retina Displays on MacBook, 50% is the native resoltuion of phalanx! it looks best at 50%

did you read the instructions?
you have to close/reopen the GUI after selecting a scale, then it should work

Its nice there are some issues though, for example in phalanx or phalanx single I dont see a away to decrease the maximum number of voices per pad (as it says you can do in the manual through the systems menu),rob_lee wrote:Okay then i'll check the videos again and then maybe buy this. I recently bought Phalanx and put it straight into a Cubase project I had been working on and deleted my Groove Agent track and replaced it with Phalanx. As soon as I had built half of my beats with Phalanx my audio completely spacked out with CPU overloads. I wacked up the delay on my audio interface and my computer still couldn't cope.
Is this plug a CPU Hog?
Has anyone else experienced this?
Thank you.

Yea it seems to take a decent amount of cpu, with one instance of phalanx it shows my cpu does a good amount extra work as well.chuna wrote:I recently bought Phalanx and put it straight into a Cubase project I had been working on and deleted my Groove Agent track and replaced it with Phalanx. Turning off any unneeded envelopes and effects will probably help. Also the maximum voice thing I asked about earlier is supposed to help with that, but I cant seem to find the adjustment for it in the system menu..
