There's some really cool midi fx in LPX too. I like these a lot. I'm gonna have a bit play with these and the quick controls are pretty nifty. Very pleasing on the eye though this new version of Logic. Hmm i keep saying that lol

How do your plugins run on this new version? BTW i lost my serials mate

what's nice is...i have a carefully-designed template from logic 9. i opened it in LX, made changes (adding track stacks, which i love), etc etc...and now, simple enough, have a new default template. migrating from 9 to X was pretty painless...

Apple made a point of mentioning that Bob Clearmountain (I think) and "some other guys" mixed the "Drummer" tracks. Does it really sound that good?

If that thing was a VST plugin for $70 or so I'd buy it.

Goes much deeper actually and has fascinating drummers. MacOS version planned too.

Drummer is pretty cool and I'm finding it great for scratch tracks. Personally, I prefer the sounds and options in SD2, BFD2, and SSD4, but for getting a new song idea together quickly, Drummer is really nice to have.

Does anyone know if Logic X has a way to trigger audio regions via MIDI and have them play in tempo with the currently running project?

I seem to recall there was a thing called Touch Tracks for MIDI, but not for audio.

Also, some have suggested that audio regions could be plopped into ESX Sampler and triggered that way, but that seems a little clunky.

Uncheck the "Open Library" option and it won't create the EP plugin on the first track.
