If you're trying to get 32 bit plugs to work, I had better luck using JBrigdeM and DDMF's Metaplugin using the VST versions of some of my plugs. Worked fine.
No I'm not using any 32 bit plugins . I just want to use bidule 64 bit . Doesn't work at my end . Anyone got bidule working ?
What's going on with it? Not detecting in Logic?
It validates the audio unit manager stage and is available in the list of plugins in Logic X but when you select it on a track , it doesnt come up. Only the Logic X plugin shell comes up. Is it just me or any other users with same problem for bidule 64bit?

The latest version has fixed this issue according to their website. Update the plug to 9730 and it should work.

I have the latest version!

Have you tried installing it and seeing if it comes up in Logic X ?

I'm afraid not. I don't own it. If the latest version isn't working I don't know buddy. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Given the quick moves they made to correct mistakes on Final Cut X, there's a good chance that users will now see more frequent and genuinely useful point version updates on Logic. Just a chance, but--following their pattern--a good one.

Final Cut Pro X was a re-write. It is something quite new compared to previous FCP Studio. Being new, it was missing some stuff that still needed to be ported over. Thus the frequent and useful updates. Logic is a different situation and not comparable to FCP-X so I would not expect frequent useful updates.

Been a few years since I've used Logic. How's control surface support? Is there any kind of automap type functionality? Or like in Ableton live where you can configure the order of plug-in parameters and have those automatically map to a controller when it's selected?

I was really excited for this as I am an avid Logic user. Now that it is installed, I am having a little bit of mixed results. As someone who uses keyboard typing A LOT, I do not understand why they needed to update the interface for it. It now takes up most of my screen... really annoying. The whole interface seems clunkier now and it is making it really hard to move around in the program. They also changed a lot of the basic Logic key commands. Also, whats up with all of the plug-ins having a HUGE bypass button... I know if I want the plug-ins on the channel strip or not.. a small button like in the older versions was fine...

I'm actually starting to get a little bummed out... :(

Just installed LPX, I'm liking it so far. It does seem snappier, and the audio browser actually works. The Midi editor is awesome, Step Editor is something I didn't use before, but it now accessible and very useful. The drummer seems useful, for top layers and well as adding more flare to a rhythm.

Overall I'm happy I upgraded. If there are no updates under-the-hood, then I don't know how they got it snappier.

Happy music making

:)
