Can anyone tell me if its any good, lots of reviews for guitar but sadly not much information on bass?.

It does have a few bass amp models, which I'm sure sound good, but as a bassist, you may enjoy jamup pro more, there's some very cool add ons for bass. But, amplitube is on quite a sale right now, so it is a good time to get it.

its why I asked as its for sale, just need clean bass with some basics effects to record in.

We have the Ampeg B15 and a Fender Bassman available in AmpliTube iOS. Plus with the promo being extended its a great time to get in for such a low price. You could get all 3 for less than the regular price.

I brought Amplitube for sale so I have to pay more for the bass models?.

AmpliTube includes one bass amp and cab. For $4.99 that's a great deal if you have interest in the other gear included. We have other models (like the models mentioned) available via in-app purchase which isn't uncommon.

I'm afraid I don't understand the question. The app itself is on sale now. In-app purchases are not at this time, but frequently are. I hope that helps.

It's not like the IAPs are being kept secret or something....
Like they said, it does include one bass amp and cab.

Right. We state what is included in AmpliTube for iPad here, for example:

The gear will show AmpliTube (Full) or AmpliTube Free in the first dropdown. Then you can see which of each category comes with either. Beyond that In-App Purchase at the end of the list on the second dropdown will show additional gear available via in-app purchase and these all can be refined to include the different types of gear too.
