thats only the readout, just ignore it. We will fix the display, so the transpose shift is considered, too in the readout.
But the note itself / the sound, is correct with the midi transpose.
btw what is your host and why is this so important? Like I said, Fruity Loops shows a C5 (!) when playing a C2. Every DAW has its own scale

we've just tuned our Phalanx C2 at the frequency Nexus has its C2 and its the first complain I heard so far

I'm using Logic. and the reason it's important is because when trying to set your own key for samples it doesn't work. if I set phalanx to drumkit mode and I want my sample for my kick to be C1, I have to remember that I have to put my note at C0 on my piano roll for it to work properly. and this is even after using the transpose. it seems to be the way phalanx is actually reading the midi note. you say don't worry about what it's displaying, but that's what it's reading. so if I put my note at C1 and phalanx is reading it as C0 I have to change the key in phalanx for my kick to actually be C0 and put my note on my piano roll at C1. do you see how this is frustrating? this is the only plugin that I've ever had this issue. and it cost me $350!!! I don't have this problem with any other sampler either. battery from native instruments works properly, kontakt works properly, the exa24 sampler in logic works properly....... so this is why it's a little frustrating. if I set my key to be C1 I want to be able to put my midi note on my piano roll at C1. I don't want to have to remember I need to put everything an octave lower when using phalanx......

yes, I did read that. but that shouldn't matter. no other plugin has this problem. if you throw battery into any DAW right now it'll work just fine. C1 will play C1 in any DAW. phalanx will not. so however they have gotten their plugins to work properly in every DAW is what you guys need to do. how do you not see this as a problem?

Just had another auto update when opening my DAW. Checked their facebook page for the release notes.

- added all parameters to automation. for compatibility all parameters are placed behind the autX parameters
- added automation notification for AutX parameters. disable->enable mod-matrix slot to send notification, so Ableton Live can list the autX parameter
- replaced Sustian on/off with EnvelopeMode. There are 3 possible modes: sustain off, sustain on, OneShot. more will come!
- Filebrowser: it is possible to close the folder with left arrow key, even if currently a file is selected.
- added adjustable voice limit to the pads. click the voicecounter and select a maximum limit
- added zoom with "Shift + Left Mouse + Move Mouse Up/Down"
- renamed ModSource "Midi Note" to "Midi Keyrange" to be more specific.
- fixed a problem where MIDI CC was not notified on VST3 version and Studio One.
- fixed a problem with sample end parameter where it sometimes did not stop the sample
- fixed: Freezing Metrum with another host sample rate than 44.1 kHz did produce a wrong result.
- fixed: entering the root note via keybord results in C -3.
- minor fixes.

btw some explanations to the update

this now allows a real "monophonic" mode... long release amp env is cutted away, when pressing a new note. Thats what many people wanted

- added all parameters to automation. for compatibility all parameters are placed behind the autX parameters

this now enables all 2000 automation parameters in phalanx in the DAW, as requested (mainly by ableton users). However I still recommend the internal mod matrix for setting up an automation with the AUTxx parameters

- replaced Sustian on/off with EnvelopeMode. There are 3 possible modes: sustain off, sustain on, OneShot.

this is a new mode "oneshot". Means, it does not matter how long you press a note, the envelope is always cycled through 1 time

samples are not playing in their entirety now after the last update. previewing them in the browser it cuts the end of the samples off. like some of the longer sample like impacts it wont play the entire sample. it's a very abrupt stop to the sample now. and before when you could just turn the amp envelope off and it would play a one shot sample does not work now. and turning one shot on in the amp envelope doesnt do anything either. is there something i'm missing? it was much easier when i could just turn the envelope off and it would play the entire sample.

nothing changed in the update, auto-preview is still ~2seconds. Maybe we make the length adjustable if there is demand. But it can be annoying when the autoplay length is longer, especially on looped synths etc...

it was much easier when i could just turn the envelope off and it would play the entire sample.

you still can do this, nothing changed there, the turn off envelope button is still where it was. You only have 1 new mode called "oneShot" on the right menu

turning the amp envelope off does not play the whole one shot sample now. only plays the length of the midi note. it used to, but after this update it no longer does.
