Yeah, despite they set up their business so they avoid taxes in russia, which surely is illegal. :P So, basically, their company could be dead tomorrow afaic. Not that i want to keep people from spending their money on this, everyone has got to know...

the site owner is registered in belize...true. but you know the rest of this how? it's a great synth, and seems like a labor of love...NOT a scam. hardly worth building a synth plugin to run a scam...

One of the dev's said earlier in this thread that they want to avoid taxes. Anyway, not my business. :) Not a scam, just a bit shady imo.

Tax avoidance - Surely you mean they 'legally' avoid their taxes then?:

'In contrast, tax avoidance is the legal use of tax laws to reduce one's tax burden.' :D

Many companies have also 'died' in the recent down turn too. It's just a roll of the dice with most things...

Reveal Sound doesnt have any problems anywhere. Its a common case for companies which develops software in Russia have a mother company registered outside. This is absolutely legal. Why people choose this way? It is a very long story which hard to understand living in EU or in US.

It's not hard to understand. Just look at any American pharmaceutical company...

Look to a lot of other not so important and small companies like Apple :P Most of them having "letterbox companies" in some countries to avoid billions in Tax.
(I read somewhere that Apple has saved at least $74 billion).
Russia is.. special ;) We all know about the dictator Putin and a lot of stuff many in the "western world" don't understand about this country. I think that some stuff is not so easy in Russia also if running a own company and Tax could be a part of this.
