That looks very Washburn-like. I haven't been to the Washburn site for yonks, but a few years back they came out with double cut-away offset-behind geets. Even the headstock looks like a Washburn beak turned upside down.

Anyway, I'm just being a batch (erm...the masculine form of b*tch?). It's a beautiful guitar, but if i ever got such a pretty geet I'd never REALLY play it.
I tend to lean towards the FrankenStrat school of thought. That's just too far up the fancy scale for me :D

The only Washburn's that fit were their X-series IRRC that were/are decent but none of them personally remind me of Mayones' Regius. They were probably the last alright Washburn's IMHO, They quickly blew them out though at rock bottom prices to pave the way for those horrid, crummy 'Idol' series.

Most of the X-Series looked and felt to me like a cross between Charvel, Fender and Yamaha except with unreliable licensed floyds, classic strat type trems or string thru options.

The only decent Washburn I can honestly say I've played was a few Nuno's but meh, I'm not Extreme enough to wield one of them ;)

Just curious, where do most people upload their pics to? Picasa?
Photobucket for me.

Yeah, but it only plays rockabilly

My next guitar is actually my previous guitar. I boxed up my Takamine EG562C electroacoustic thinline for a sale a few months ago.... the buyer disappeared and it remained in the garage under bubble wrap. Anyway, eventually I got around to really missing it (typical post-gear-flipping reaction) and lo and behold, there it was in the garage sat waiting for me.

Welcome back, old friend. It's a fine playing nylon strung electro, with a sweet action and a great sound. Replacing it and the Telecaster with an epiphone ES or Gretsch was a silly idea with hindsight. Sometimes you gotta go there to come back.....

Sweet!

Almost every new guitar I've gotten this year has made me miss the Ibanez 3120 I have in storage.

Reason I never really sell any of the collection. Only exception was that Washburn dimebag model as I didn't really like it/want it but it was part of a three guitar deal my friend really, really wanted and I exchanged it for a pre-FMIC Jackson with one of those necks I love so much >An Epic Victory<

Eric you have no excuse to not get that thing out of storage do you? Speaking of Ibanez I'm still loving the RGD and have nearly finished an albums worth of tracks using it in places along with the main guitar I've used which is my Scheter Damien 7-string baritone.

Should I post linkage when I've done it here? Also reckon it's worth me posting it in the music café place here? You all know how shit I am at all this stuff after finishing stuff! :help:

Good to hear you are back with an old friend Dan. Chris how long is the ETA on the Mayones btw?

Cheers and man  to all

Cool and will post it when I've named it all properly. If it is 'the one' then it will be worth waiting for/patience no doubt dude :)

Your next guitars are getting even more disturbing and may I be so bold Sir to even suggest that you are so in the closet about wanting a Gibson les paul that it is becoming more and more obvious :hihi: It is just a pity they are a 3/4" of an inch too short in scale-length  How about that baritone one? Even better an epi Rob Flynn sig Love/Death model to really display the feeling:
