Looking forward to checking this one out. Nice to see something very different from the Tone2 guys.

Please no! Not for FM! I hate 'pimped' synthesizers. And tone2 are number 1 in this game.keel wrote:Is this using the same psychoacoustic method from oldier synths?
In all Tone2 synths you could turn psychoacoustics off. For example in Saurus it'S the "Boost" On/Off button.toothnclaw wrote:Please no! Not for FM! I hate 'pimped' synthesizers. And tone2 are number 1 in this game.keel wrote:Is this using the same psychoacoustic method from oldier synths?
Nemesis will offer an approach to FM synthesis that in this way should be different to most or even any other FM synths before.Neon Breath wrote:Wow nice 90's style photoshop lens fare!![]()
Seriously, FM synthesis really bores me. But still, it could be an interesting synth with unusual FM features, will keep my ears open for the next audio demos, I have doubts but who knows.
Not sure how much i am allowed to reveal. It was a surprise to me too that the tearer is published here today. Maybe Bastiaan is allowed to answer this. For sure it will be answered ASAP.SODDI wrote:You really should at least roughly describe what "neoFM" is, how it differs in synthesis terms to "classical" Chowning-style FM and a basic idea how the sound differs.
Otherwise it's just more advertising-speak. Which I promptly ignore.
There will be operators...PietW. wrote:Will there be operators and algorithms, and if so can create and save your own? Own waveforms to modulate the operators?
I agree.Karten wrote:So am I and I must say that making sounds with Nemesis is easier that with any other FM synth I have tried.Ingonator wrote:I am working on factory sounds for Nemesis currently.
There is a psychoacoustic option for the output (with a few others modes), if this is the same as the one in the prior synths, then yes.keel wrote:Is this using the same psychoacoustic method from oldier synths?
