Do you think it would be possible to include a browse previous/next directly on the pads?
Last thing, why 6 channels instead of channel for each pads (10)?

Thanks, Drumatic 4 is really one of the best drum synth on the market! Super sound and easy tweaking!
You summed up all that wanted to say :)

I would also like to say that Drumatic is really a great drum synth and that I'm really having some great sounds (and fun!) with v4 I bought a couple of days ago!

Anyway, I've been a big fan of Drumatic since the beginning :tu:

Cheers,
GilJ.

So, I don't know how to say this, but, is this gray 'thing' all we will ever know?

Is the 'dark navy' thing of old gone for good?

Is this what the new Drumatic 4 is? A gray thing?
Has the old Drumatic gone?

No more dark navy? no option to revert?

Just wondering.

cheers.

I think codec_spurt is talking about the original GUI used on the earliest betas of v4 not the earlier versions. When the beta first came out it used a similar colour palette to v3 but then switched to the current mostly grey GUI.

^ Ha, yes maybe that's what he meant. It would be nice to make it skinable.

It really is a nice drumsynth.
Here is my wishlist :)

1-more modulation (panning, decay, etc);

2- an integrated browser ;

3- more presets (i'd like to have a great 909 kit, it is not very original, but i could get rid of a couple plugins if Drumatic4 could handle it) ;

4- a couple more themes (yes, the dark blue one was at least as good as the grey one... both are nice in fact) ;

Spent a little time with the demo and was shocked by the sound quality of the presets (I own Microtonic, so I'm familiar with gorgeous sounding drum synthesis). Also red all the posts in this topic and was amazed of the evolution from first beta to version 1.0.0. Respect, e-phonic!

I'm on Studio One 2.0.7 x32 on WinXP SP3 x32 and I get severe CPU spikes on changing from let's say Kick to Perc or from changing kits. No such problems in Live 9.

Thanks for your feedback.
As you might have noticed updates are a bit slower since the release of v1.0. I'm saving up the smaller issues for an update. It's busy here but all your bugs and requests have been noted down.

Thanks!

I just tried the demo and it has great quality sounds and filters, yeah!.
Very nice improvements over drumatic 3, which by the way was a very good synthdrum.
Any future plans for an integrated sequencer inside drumatic? Kind of drumatic pro :)

Post

Yeah, luckily, I have one of the earlier betas.

Works just fine for me.

Of course the new skin makes a lot of sense, using screen space much more efficiently.
I don't have a problem with it, I think it's great.

I just kind of miss the old school Drumatic colour - you know that dark navy kind of thing. To be able to just switch between them both would be a dream. Just invert them. Don't need skinning.

God, how bad would this look with a bright orange background and green fonts?

Then again, make it skinnable!

I've got a bright idea.

:D

e-phonic said in some earlier posts he thinks the host sequencer is way more powerful than any step sequencer integrated in drumatic and doesn't see the need for one. sorry, but I hope it stays that way.

Any update on the OSX version?
cheers

no news is good news? :D

...ok, no news is good news, but some news would be good :scared:

2 small feature for consideration to add to the bundle!

Before changing a preset a dialog should ask you 'are you sure you want to leave the current preset without saving' - This would be such a life saver - Drumatic takes up alot of sound design time, 6-8 different instruments in one preset, and basically IS the track by the end of sounddesigning. :) Its implemented in alot of synths, and theyre usually for a single sound. It would really be appreciated, but I dont know if its possible due to the way the presets are accessed.

A 3rd Keyboard Layout option for Ableton/other daws - simply ordering the cells sequentially - i.e. c1, c#1, d1, d#1 etc, one cell per key. Instead of having missing keys taking up screen space.

Thanks!
