I just hope he does something with that GOD awful reverb :hihi:
lol I quite liked the reverb ! lol But yeah it seems pretty stable for the short time I ran it.

Unison is a CPU muncher, lol that's why I tested it, I think I got about 7 osc's each with their own unison control, before it maxed out. The supersaw sound itself was very fat too. Mad stuff. :)

Trying it out again I feel it's starting to feel a bit old in the tooth. A bit too cold and digital sounding for my taste nowadays. Interface-wise it's still strong though. Sadly, every time I've asked, Kasper seems to think it's in no need of an update of any sorts. Though, I'm glad 64-bit is finally happening. Happy patching!

Ok I got an email newsletter with the 1.17 update although I'm not sure if he was responding to my earlier request or it's just come through.

I shall fire it up tonight and see how well it does/does not work!

FFS

I've downloaded the 64bit PC installer and I can't even begin to install it (W7-64)

Double clicking causes windows explorer to freeze, right clicking does the same.

This does not bode well!

It took mine a long time until it came up with the 'run/cancel' dialog, like 5min or more

Post

Hmmmm, mine appears to be crashing explorer before it gets to that stage.

I'll have a fiddle and see if I can get it sorted.

Thanks.

That's wierd, i'm on W7 64bit and it worked first time here.

Still testing the 64bit version, no problems as such :)

32 and 64 bit installers ran on Mac OSX, but 64-bit plugin is not showing up in 64-bit Reaper, Renoise, or Tracktion for me.

Glad I'm not the only one who hates the reverb, and I have no idea why the note controller module is implemented the way it is. IMO VAZ Modular is superior in sound/modules/usability, but I really like the KarmaFX sampler, sequencer and additive modules, and would love to see more vigorous development.

Feck. Emailed asking about the RC link, and got it, but Im only getting server errors trying to use it, both at home and at work.

That sucks.

I've just downloaded it again and it works for me, but it's not like I could share it with you anyway as it's tied to my account.

And the net police would purge me.

Its not too big a deal, I'll email again this evening.

btw this isn't a bug report thread, the email asked for all bug's to be reported to the dev's email :)

I had to email to request the link, but nice quick customer service as usual, and it's working great for me on Win7 x64 with Reaper (i7 3930k / 32GB / RME Babyface)

Very nice, and glad to be able to include KarmaFX again in my 64bit setup :D
