If it's any guide (acknowledging PC/MAC differentials), I have an overlocked I7 2660 and I have no problems with Spire at all. Whereas 2 instances of Diva on Divine mode, playing any pad sound, bring everything to a screeching halt.
yeah, and truthfully, i really like this synth, and will add it to my arsenal, even if i have to use it sparingly...

Even with the multicore button clicked on the Diva GUI?

Lots of Pad sounds on Diva do not need to be on Divine...

yup - only put on divine for test purposes - I just work in draft and then render at 'best'

yep multicore selected..

okay I have no idea why www.reveal-sound.com doesn't retrieve any f-n results. I've tried getting on the website on a few different browsers, on different computers and different locations, and the website does not load.

I really want to try this synth out, maybe even buy it. What gives!
vaisnava:Bee-Berp, that does not compute, your post exceeded the 4x4 parameters, Bee-Berp

It works OK here, but just to help figure out what's going on, can you open Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (OSX) and type:

Code: Select all

ping 91.218.228.248
If it's working then you should see:

Code: Select all

Pinging 91.218.228.248 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 91.218.228.248: bytes=32 time=383ms TTL=38
Reply from 91.218.228.248: bytes=32 time=380ms TTL=38
...
Then try a DNS lookup:

Code: Select all

nslookup reveal-sound.com
You should see something like this:

Code: Select all

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: reveal-sound.com
Address: 91.218.228.248
If both of these tests work, then you really should be able to get to the website. If not, then let me know what test failed :)

weird, i can get to it from your link in this post. and works on every browser i've tried (using the User Agent in safari, trying IE, chrome, etc).

try clearing your cache, and deleting your history...but...maybe your ISP is blocking it somehow...

Is there website down? I don't get a ping response for www.reveal-sound.com. Can get to other websites fine and they ping too, but not Reveal's. Tried it a few days ago in the UK and now again in the US.

Hmm... if wachimol ^^ is located in the UK too, then i have a suspicion...

Edit: Oh wait, you said you tried from US too... nevermind then.

Post

It's weird.. I used to be able to get to the website a few weeks back in the UK, but before I came over here I noticed it was down. Tried Chrome and Safari on the laptop and iphones but nothing. nada. weird.

Just tried with Firefox for the first time, just says connecting.....

Post

Works fine here right now, with Chrome and Firefox. Weird...
