Hi, I have a dashboard set up so it removes the vocals (or tries to at least :P)

I am wondering is there a simple button, switch or something that can play the difference between the original input and the processed effects audio.

There are couple software these days that can simply give you the difference between what you process and the original audio, for example:

variable A = full original audio
variable B = processed original audio with effects

variable C = A - B = difference between them, in other words, should give you the other way around, keeping the vocals.

I hope you guys understand and I hope there is a button or a way to do that in fl studio, would be VERY useful to me. Thanks a lot! :)

yeah, since FL Studio have the insane ability to route every channel to every other channel and even more every channel to more then one output it's no problem at all to set up you would think but..

..everything goes at the end to the one master so a real sub-out where you can
listen to unprocessed or whatever audio as an alternative to the master-out doesn't exist.

the only way you can switch between processed and unprocessed is to turn off/on with the fx on a channel. where you put your fx-chain ( on insert or master) is up to you.

i have the fx-chain on the insert1 and the audio on insert2 or whatever routed to insert1 where i switch on/off the fx in the mixer. it worked but it would be nice to have a sub-out beside the master-out like i set it up in cubase.

if somebody could show me a way to generate a real 2nd out beside the master in FL he would be my hero. :D

ps. variable C wasn't touched with my reply only A + B.

Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

What you're looking for is more generally thought of as a phase cancellation op.
Route A to one mixer channel, and B to another.
Invert the phase of one of the channel(In FL, it's "reverse polarity".) Assuming the level of each channel is the same as the original, the phase cancellation will give you the diff you want.
