Hey guys!

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me in my quest of making a "Swedish style" big room track with a typical Swedish big room style piano riff...

My question is as im starting out learning how to play the piano if anyone have noticed a pattern in these types of tracks or could guide me towards what i need to do/know when making a Alesso, Avicii, etc. style piano riff?

Any help would be most appreciated!

I added some reference tracks below on what type of tracks im talking about

Thanks alot!

Jacob Liedholm-Swede love

Alesso-Years

Avicii-Nicktim

Hello, I've listened to the examples of track featuring the piano sound you want to achieve and I think I might have the solution or at least a part of the solution to get these sounds.
For the first track I think Jakob Liedholm either layered a lot of pianos on top of each other or he played many notes as once using the lower ones as a bassline and the higher ones as a melody. If you try this I would also suggest you to use sidechain compression linked to your kick so the piano doesn't feel too "static" and I guarantee that if you find the right compression settings and the right notes to hit at the same time , you'll have your swedish big room house piano.

The second one is probably just a sampled Grand Piano and for a tutorial you can watch this video:

The third one is made by layering different synth patches from reFX Nexus 2 and LennarDigital Sylenth1. A great turoial to remake it is this one:

PS: I know it this reply comes in very late but I thought it could still be useful for other producers.

Liedholm - Nexus Dancepiano 2k7 preset
Alesso Piano in the track was made by - Pianoteq
Nicktim is mostly nexus - It is a preset in dance lead called Adagio.
