This echo effect sounds great though. Really nice.

Seems interesting and GUI works for me.
SIGMUND is far more than a simple delay effect... it does chorusing, flanging, distortion, and some stereo/spatial effects. Go listen to the audio demos..

They went overboard with skeuomorphic junk on the GUI. The meters have "glass" covers with light reflections and little "metal" screws. It has "LCD" displays with shadows where the inactive numbers are.
@d16 Group: I have shocking news for you. You are a software company! Stop pretending you are making hardware.

In full size it looks a little better, but not that much.
Something in the lines of their "silver plugins" would have been better IMHO. But I like the quality of the 3D render though.

Not really impressed by this one...The gui is pretty ugly, a bad mix between Permut8, a poor synth interface and the Softube's Fet comp. It obviously sound good, but do we need another delay ? Yes and no, especially because this one is too close to the EARebound to be really interesting. And concerning the flanging/chorusing side, well I prefer to use a specific plug for a specific task. Plus, if you want a delay that can do chorus and flange, well go for the Übermod.
I own the Silverline bundle and I'm really happy with it, but this delay doesn't click on me at all. Just my humble opinion.

I think I've put my finger on what I don't like about the GUI. It's the imbalance of negative/positive space (top left corner, I'm looking at you!). If that were fixed (and possibly the colours changed) it would be a very cool GUI in my opinion.
But then I have Permutate, Timeless, U-he MFM, the D-cam reverb/echo whose name has escaped me right now, and quite a few others on standby longing for 10 minutes of my attention
The demos sound good, I really liked the instrumental funk demo with the clav, you could really hear how the effect brought out the sound and made it funkier.

I don't mind the interface, and the feature set seems interesting. But I really don't need it. I guess it depends on the price, but I'm not optimistic.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Yes pricing, please...
I'm guessing around 80 USD on intro.. probably 100-130 USD on full release.. but just a GUESS.
I don't really need it either.. but it has piqued my interest anyways..

Yeah me too, I'm afraid it's the kind of unit that will be overpriced...deastman wrote:But I really don't need it. I guess it depends on the price, but I'm not optimistic.

I should chain them all together and make a mega complex 1 hour delayV0RT3X wrote:Whoa so your Delay needs are definitely more than covered! lolSendy wrote: But then I have Permutate, Timeless, U-he MFM, the D-cam reverb/echo whose name has escaped me right now, and quite a few others on standby longing for 10 minutes of my attention![]()
