That's an update and a half.
Still quite a few fixes missing it seems, but the fast updates bode well.

Is there a reverse midi in Logic X ? If there is i can't find it lol. This was simple in Cubase. Also working with audio files in Flex time as a newbie to Logic i can't see how to pitch individual slices... a bit embarrassing haha

Anyone?

Other then that i am having quite a good time with LPX. Had a few crashes just demoing audio files and the issue with overload is now gone.

Have you looked in the manual Rob? :p

Errr lol i was waiting for that haha.. yeah i really should do that mate. So far iv'e just been diving in BUT i shall at some point today have to look at it.

The manual is actually quite stripped down, straight to the point, so no digging multiple levels deep to finally find what you're after. So it might lack some of the details but you'll quickly find what you need to get going.

Mind you, I've hardly used it myself

Reverse midi is there in functions. It's i. The drop down menus I forget which one but its 100% there.

You can't pitch individual slices as such.. Is not possible sorry, unless you split the file at transient markers, close the flex view, and pitch each individual part in the standard block view. Or send it as a sample file to exs and pitch each individual slice easily.

Can't you just switch to Flex pitch and pitch individual slices that way? Maybe I am not understanding the question. However, you can actually move the timing of the slices in Flex Pitch as well.

This is what i'm trying to do but can't seem to suss it out yet lol. It looks like the audio can be warped in the images

Just having a read of the manual now. I'm not sure if the images above are just automation but anyways i can't get my audio clips looking like this above in Flex Time.. it looks like the pics show audio being pitched here.

These are images of the flex pitch editor. The thick lines represent the pitch of each audio section, which you can move about in flex / pitch mode.

Automation lanes are displayed in main arrange view, press A to view.

Thanks Ken it was staring me right in the face. I hadn't even seen it right at the top i was looking down the menus at the others. I had seen the Flex Pitch at the top then a list below with slicing etc and hadn't thought to click on the first one.

I thought the developers had been working on this for a few years? I'm not sure being new to Logic but it seems that testers didn't do much testing or just maybe in it for a free daw lol.
LPX seems stable here for me after the latest update as i was getting cpu overload messages when using Alloy 2, not sure why that was but anyways that has now stopped happening in 10.0.2

PS

The included plugins (old ones) look terrible on my retina screen here. The new ones are just fine though. Maybe they need to revamp the GUI's on the older ones cause they're still top notch plugins imo
