Bloom.
That's it. Now that's a delay with some unique features. I love the layer of digital scum it can generate.

I dunno guys. A delay is not just a delay. I have Echoboy and I use Zebrify they are both great. Sigmund has very nice filters and distortion. I've demoed others and listened to demos of others too like Bloom, Valhalla Mod and the EarRekon one & Ohmboys and they all sound different.

I'm always up for new plug-ins though even if they cover the same ground, so long as they sound very good and different from what's out there.

For example I don't think TAL's 101 was overkill in light of D16's Lush.

I do think the price needs to be around the $99 mark though. OR less of course.

Composed long post...deleted it by mistake...herewith the summary:

Sound: great, adds presence and spice to the source signal, not a vanilla delay.

GUI: concept is fine, knobs are way too shiny and the same colour as the background = confusing and illegible at a glance. Give us lighter knobs, or lighten up the background. The LCDs have been hanging out with Tone2. Tone it down! Perspective is unnecessary.

Desirability: It adds some zest to the dry signal, the routing options look enticing, covers a lot of processing ground - distortion to flanging etc, pricing will make or break.

Whoa so your Delay needs are definitely more than covered! lol
I should chain them all together and make a mega complex 1 hour delay
Yes, using one ping only.

Yeah, Bloom has got big range.

Their 3D GUI renderings seems to be quite good. This one reminds me on 90% of available bad Reason RE guis..

Post

I like the GUI although might be too strong.

D16 has a sale ending today 30% off 21st Aug last day!

I think the GUI is overdone, but so are 90% of all of them. But uggly? not IMO, althought a silverline wouldve been better I think. It's laid out clearly and the important readings stand out fine. Not that I care about GUIs that much, but I wanted to add my opinion to the lot.

*hears more questions from audience*

Do I need another delay? Probably not. Do I want it? Hells yes. I love D16's effects and I love delays. Will I buy this? Not likely. I'm just a poor guitarist :( :)

I really love the GUI except for what you mentioned. There's way too much reflection on it.
