My price range is around $500, I want to get a laptop that will be very reliable, and also be able to process audio. Gonna be using fl studio, ableton, and some midi controllers. I am willing to save up more money if its worth it, and it would be a bonus if the laptop lasted longer than the last one I had.

I bought a used Dell E5500 for 200 euros and it can handle my DAW yet it (as most laptops) has a ricoh chipset so if you're planning on using a firewire audiocard you'd need a Texas Instruments adapter of some sort.
