I like the GUI...certainly not D16's best but it's not something that should cause all the drama. The screenshot in this thread is a jpeg image so it loses some clarity. Let's wait until we see the actual plugin........

EDIT: However, I might tone down the color a bit if it were possible to edit the GUI:

I'm a bit of a D16 fan - both the sound and look of their plugins. This GUI is definitely a bit more in yer face than their previous ones but I still kinda like it.

I definitely don't need another delay but I am a bit of a sucker for them and this one does sound very good. Whether I get it or not is definitely going to come down to price.

Okay just wanted to make sure about the NDA before posting. I have the beta of this. It comes with a heck of a lot of presets and I listened to each one on some drum loops. This thing is great for drums because of it's distortion/saturation & filters. It can really make interesting things out of boring drum loops.

Anyway, just thought I'd put in a good word for this now as I really think this is a great plug-in and as I said before I have Echoboy and I'm really glad to have Sigmund too.

Probably me too :) It least it looks just as arty-farty and stupidly skeoumorphic as my favorite synth starting with S. They could make a good match on my screen.

the problem for me with the GUI is the black knobs on the black background...

I really like what it did on the bass audio demo. Sounds so lush.
Did you try it on material other than drums yet?

My biggest dilemma is that I've been intending to buy Ubermod, and Bloom looks intriguing, and I suppose Satin will cover some of the same territory, and I really don't need any of them. And now this comes out...

First world problems... I know that feel :hihi:

Ubermod and Satin are what I'd give priority to, i.e. I consider them irreplacable. Bloom is very good but I could live without it.

Yes I tried it on everything I normally do (pads, plucks, vocals etc) it's great. What would you like to hear it on? I might be able to do some demos today.

Like I said before I was really pleased they made this. At first I was like "oh another delay plug-in, why bother?" and I was disappointed they were spending their time on this, but then as I started testing it out I began to think of it as a really creative tool box. It's not just it's features, it's how it sounds. It can really impart some believable character.

People don't like that GUI??? It's almost the perfect KVR-GUI; it's photorealistic and kind of gritty and fanciful.

I love it. Looks like an object you'd love to play with (behave!).
