Well, FWIW, I like the look of the GUI, but it's way too busy, and moving a mouse is not the same as moving your fingers over a piece of hardware. D16 haven't yet understood that good, ergonomic hardware design and good software UI design are two different things.
As to the sound, it seems like I got it covered with the great EARebound. Good luck with it, though. I'm sure the world has room for more delays.

Yeah, I like the Gui as well. Not that it's all that important - once it's easy to use, and is a quality plug in.
I'm just not really phsyked about another boutique delay plugin (I've amassed a few at this stage). Knowing it's form D16 I have no doubt it will be a quality effect.
Best of luck with it...

I definitely LOVE(!) d16-stuff, but SigMund doesn't sound very special to me.
I love tape and BBD echos, old phasers, saturation and stuff.
But SigMund sounds so .... normal.
(Btw. just listened to the demos on their site..... )

Hm, but I have saturators & filters etc.... (?)Aiynzahev wrote:Okay just wanted to make sure about the NDA before posting. I have the beta of this. It comes with a heck of a lot of presets and I listened to each one on some drum loops. This thing is great for drums because of it's distortion/saturation & filters. It can really make interesting things out of boring drum loops.
Anyway, just thought I'd put in a good word for this now as I really think this is a great plug-in and as I said before I have Echoboy and I'm really glad to have Sigmund too.

Gotta say that this GUI looks horrible. I don't know if its too bright/saturated or if its ALL THE LINES!!
When you use a bit of software all day everyday then the GUI is very important. Just wish Izotope made a delay.

I know the GUI is pretty much all we have to go on right now...but do we really know before we actually try it? Some stuff looks great but is hell to actually use...with other stuff its the other way around. I can't call it before i try it...i dont care how it looks, i care how it is to work with, and you cant always see that from a screenshot. And i really dont think its even close to possible to squeeze all that stuff into a silver line-style GUI. People are different of course, but i dont care how it looks if its nice to work with...and yes, that IS two very different things, at least to me
Anyway, ill demo it if its not too expensive, i am curious.

I have trash 2. But the delay on it seems limited to me. I must admit I haven't fully explored it but can it do ping pong delays? Is it even stereo? I know there is a width control but it doesn't seem to be a 'proper' delay to me (or maybe it is a proper delay and the rest are not).
