No, that's supposed to be SOON, which is their acronym for Sometime Or, Optionally, Never.

I think they said something like that there won't be any public beta, but there will be a public demo available when bitwig final is released.

honestly, if Bitwig ever does come out I will be sad because it will mean the end of fun at its expense. Better that it remain mythical and unreleased forever, then our fun will never end.
