Just had exactly the same thought. IBTL.Examigan wrote:Here we go again with the Tone2 bashing, whatever..
Besides my comment about watermarks in the soundsets and this comment I'll stay quiet this time...

How do you prove THEY illegally distributed it? Could be someone else used their computer.. network hack/breach.. stolen credit card.. etcIngonator wrote:Tone2 soundsets are watermarked too.
Those patch files could not be involved with the audio output. I guess it's just that Tone2 could find out the original owner of the soundset if he illegally redistributes it.

If a company engages in practices that people find distasteful that company will get "bashed"......Tone 2 or anyone else. Again why isn't UHE being bashed here ? No one has accused them of using watermarks.Ingonator wrote:Just had exactly the same thought. IBTL.Examigan wrote:Here we go again with the Tone2 bashing, whatever..

No you won't.........But don't worry oh mighty defenders of Tone 2. As you've already pointed out whenever Tone 2 feels threatened the Mods will be along in no time to Lock/Delete the thread......just be patient.Ingonator wrote:I'll stay quiet this time...

Well, the good thing is that nobody has been bashing anything in here so far. This means that if everyone just stops bringing up Tone2 as a subject, (they use audio watermarks so case closed), and just continues to post what other companies are doing it, the thread actually has a good chance of survival and even becoming a useful source of information.Teksonik wrote:...whenever Tone 2 feels threatened the Mods will be along in no time to Lock/Delete the thread......just be patient.
EDIT: On second thought; thats probably a little too optimistic. Bashing or not, im sure this thread will be forced down the drain very soon anyhow. KVR FTW.

We don't move or lock Tone 2 threads to defend them; only because they tend to get out of hand and we're just tired of the f**king bs!Teksonik wrote:
