Why isn't U-HE being bashed?!? It's KVR!!!Teksonik wrote:If a company engages in practices that people find distasteful that company will get "bashed"......Tone 2 or anyone else. Again why isn't UHE being bashed here ? No one has accused them of using watermarks.Ingonator wrote:Just had exactly the same thought. Besides my comment about watermarks in the soundsets and this comment
No you won't.........But don't worry oh mighty defenders of Tone 2. As you've already pointed out whenever Tone 2 feels threatened the Mods will be along in no time to Lock/Delete the thread......just be patient.Ingonator wrote:I'll stay quiet this time...

Have you ever wondered why one company's threads "get out of hand" while the vast majority of other company's threads don't ? Could it be the behavior of the company itself and not the behavior of the KVR members at fault ? Certainly Cause/Effect plays a part. Again when was the last time a UHE thread got out of hand or Linplug ? (just as examples)bluedad wrote:We don't move or lock Tone 2 threads to defend them; only because they tend to get out of hand and we're just tired of the f**king bs!Teksonik wrote:

Well if by politics you mean like the difference between the recently Ex Mayor of San Diego and a Mayor who doesn't abuse his/her constituents then yes I suppose your analogy might hold a tiny bit of water.........Examigan wrote:It's just like politicsTeksonik wrote:No, because their is nothing to bash them for.........Examigan wrote:Why isn't U-HE being bashed?!? I meant (for people in the USA) it's sort of like if Tone2 were Democrats, and KVR was Fox newsTeksonik wrote:Well if by politics you mean like the difference between the recently Ex Mayor of San Diego and a Mayor who doesn't abuse his/her constituents then yes I suppose your analogy might hold a tiny bit of water.........Examigan wrote:It's just like politicsTeksonik wrote:No, because their is nothing to bash them for.........Examigan wrote:Why isn't U-HE being bashed?!? From the list linked on one of the previous pages I don't know any company.
Tone2 is not even on that list. I suppose one reason why Tone2 is mentioned in this context is that they simply say on their site that they are using audio watermarking. Others may simply keep it to themselves, especially developers of proprietary plugins. I don't think SE has that feature, thus SE synths probably all don't use that technology.
