Looking at the first video from MM, my guess is they have a product but that it's WAY too close to Ableton Live and things are in a legal limbo. I think it'll be cats and more cats for some time to come.

For what it's worth, the very few dealings I had with Claes, he seems like a perfectionist and he wouldn't release something that is unusable. So I guess this major delay is because of adding features, bug fixing, testing, etc.

It's a better approach than selling a half baked product to paying customers and get them to do all the "beta testing"! (Cubase 6 anyone!)?

i stand by that,bitwig will be released on the second of september and if not i'll spam kvr with cat pics like never seen before.

though,it won't come to that point.
