What a great synth this is. The sound is beautiful, the CPU ussage is very low and it doesn't feel crippled or limited in any way, therefore I feel the aforementioned guilt

This easily has to be one of the best sounding synths available at no cost. I don't think it'll be replacing the mighty Synth1/Sylenth1 combo (Sylenth has the best modulations layout for Steve Miller space sounds and 8-bit video game/SFX types but no osc sync, and Synth1 makes me zone out and jam forever with its awesome pure sound). But I might make some room up there in my pedestal

I also noticed they have a version of Artillery, Aalto and a sampler that suspiciously looks quite a bit like Dune. It's gonna be a fun night.

Actually it's the only thing i use since months. It sounds so lush, and has such a broad palette of sounds. Most plugins i have are good for 1 or 2 sounds, this one is good for a lot of sounds.

imho, yes you can replace both synth with Dune
Dune has more slot in the modulation matrix, why do you think Sylenth has best modulations layout than Dune

That sampler "suspiciously looking like Dune" is from the same dev Dune is from btw. It uses the same engine too afaik.
