Mute effect buttons working ok here too (Windows 8, Cubase 6.5.5 x64).

I really would love to see the Sustain pedal fixed though. Pretty pretty please Reveal Sound :)

Are you using the 32 bit or the 64 bit version of Spire in your 64 bit version of Cubase 6.5?

If you're using the 64-bit version then it seems to be an issue with Spire's compatibility in Cubase 7
If you're using the 32-bit version then perhaps it is simply a more generic bug with Spire

(Trying to reduce the possibilities to help Mr. Spire Dev pinpoint the bug)

thanks for the update !

I have some crackles in the sound when I use the velocity knob, it seems to happen since the previous update too.
Solved by activating "fixed latency buffer" option in fl studio, sorry :P

Hey there mate, I'm running the native 64-bit version of Spire. Perhaps it is indeed Cubase 7 related :(

Thank you very much for the current optimization.

I can actually play the pads with 4 note voicing at 96k.

You guys are great!

Thanks for the update (and yes, I've bought Spire in the meantime). I'm looking forward to the things to come.

With my testings the mute button is only not working for the delay.
(all other effects can be muted)

mm, im not convinced about optimisation, even when opening spire v1 (32 bit) it takes 10-11 percent of my Core 2 Quad Q9400 cpu. And even not playing a sound makes weird CPU spikes up to 22 percent.

sounds like the system needs optimising to me.
do you use a USB interface? what os, daw etc?

No i dont, its optimised, i use firewire/windows 8, system runs smooth, no complains, no CPU spikes. Plus I fallow spire development and since last version i checked 9.1.7 there isnt much of change in CPU optimisation, from one side its worse, because before when opening in FL Studio (latest version 11.0.3) there wasnt CPU spiking.

I open Spire x32 in Live 9 or Cubase 6.5 and my CPU use is 0%. 0%-1% if the GUI is open. I run OSX 10.8.4 and use RME Fireface. i7 2.7 GHz.

Hi,

Just tested the mute button on the delay effect . I'm running Cubase 7.05 / Windows 7 (64-bit) . It works fine, no issues with muting the delay effect in Spire (version 1.0).

Cheers,

Then they really did improve the Mac version a lot didn't they? I'll have to re-evaluate it again when I get home, thanks.

Same, works here with Live 9.05 / Windows 8 (64-bit).
