Hi
I've been using my Samsung Galaxy S for checking email and browsing the web for a few months now. Since yesterday when I try to login to my email it says my login details are incorrect. Using exactly the same login details I can login using my laptop ... wierd eh?.

This is driving me nuts. Anybody got any idea whats up?

Post

Anyone got an idea why this is happening?

Post

Anyone got an idea why I can't login with my smartphone? It was working fine until Monday ... I didn't change any settings.

Have an S3 here but no probs. Any auto updates on your phone that could have changed something?

Not that I'm aware of Dave. I had no problem here until the other day ... been using it since last year.

Very odd. You can log into forums ok?

Have you tried clearing history/cache etc and starting again?

Post

Yeah. Its only my email account that doesnt work. I havent tried clearing the history, etc yet. Dont want to lose all my passwords.

Post

Yeah, its a pain doing that.

Is it a gmail account.... or, can you get to it via your web browser instead?

Its not gmail. I am using the android browser. Can login no problem on my XP laptop using Firefox.

The weird thing is the android browser remembers the login and password correctly, but they dont work.

Post

I tried using a different browser ( Firefox for Android) but the problem persists. Think I'll contact my email provider.

Post

Very weird. Perhaps changing the user agent (can be done in the browsers preferences on Firefox e.g.) could help. Just try to set it to Desktop, maybe it works then, as it seems to work ok on your desktop computer.
