I remember waiting a good while for Sampletank 2 many years ago....then being extremely disappointed once I got it (sold it months later). I hope my doubts on ST3 are completely unfounded and it blows us all away...but we'll see.

I wish I had offloaded ST2 many years ago while it was still worth something. Truth be told I never really liked it and still don't.
My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

On how many computers can I authorise Sampletank? I'd be buying Sampletank XL.
The reason I ask is, I'm rebuilding my studio PC, when I get some downtime, which will be after the group buy would have closed, but need to register this on another PC, in the interim after the purchase to enable download of the othere "free" products, and transfer these to my studio PC later on.
With the current group buy - Sampletank is an offer too good to miss - 4 VST's for 56 euros.
That's about what you pay for Korg M1 software version.
And the potential of a low cost upgrade to version 3 of Sampletank, which judging by the quality of iPiano should be something to look forward to.

You get 5 authorizations, but you can only use the product on one computer at a time (meaning you cannot use authorizations simultaneously).kodebode2 wrote:On how many computers can I authorise Sampletank? I'd be buying Sampletank XL.

Thanks Peter. Please clarify, is registration the same thing as authorisation on 1 of these 5 authorisations? Can I register, without having to bother with the 1st authorisation. I'd need to do this on my wife's or children's PC, in the interim, and would prefer to avoid the hassle.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:You get 5 authorizations, but you can only use the product on one computer at a time (meaning you cannot use authorizations simultaneously).kodebode2 wrote:On how many computers can I authorise Sampletank? It is different. You need to authorize the product on each computer on which you'll use it. You can register, though, without having to authorize. You register your serial number and you'll get any Group Buy bonuses "unlocked" to choose in your User Area and you can download the program and any sound libraries (please download within 30 days) at that point. You'll receive instructions detailing this upon purchase.

The show we're unveiling it at is a consumer electronics show. There's potential for it to be tangentially related but it really shouldn't affect a decision to get into this group buy at all.kodebode2 wrote:Thanks - Fantastic.
