Just read this:
If C-type and S-type (however this might be possible!) will be implemented at a later state, I'm definitely game. I probably still have a sh*t-ton of C-type recorded tapes lying around. But B is definitely an interim solution.
Man, why did I never tag the tapes properly back in the days. Oh wait, I wasn't that much into audio engineering, so I didn't care.

That's utterly bizarre, and totally cool!Ch00rD wrote:I actually like the wobbliness of the tape delay.penguinfromdeep wrote:I dunno, I'm not exactly floored with this ... It sounds good but it never seems to go dirty enough especially when using the tape delay and the distortion is too clean and hi-fi and the wobble doesn't sound convincing for me (I own couple of hardware tape delays myself). Might be just my tastes, I like it dirtyBut kudos for this, it's definitely very good and I might end up purchasing it anyway

Just found a buyer for my old Digitech VX400 and I'm gonna spend that money on... you guessed it: Satin!
Optimal number of audio plugins is one more than you currently have.

Let's maybe keep things that are specific to Satin's release in our company forum:J4R1O wrote:BTW: Should I change this topic's name?

Which begs the almost unutterable yet very On-Topic question:TheoM wrote:The reason I think VTM is now obsolete is because VTM can not emulate satin but satin can do VTM.
Who's got Satin presets that emulate the Slate VTM?

Nah, ask Steven first.
Either way... I hope that there will be a patch pool for other tape machines like AMPEX, Otari, Tascam, AKAI, Grundig, Revox and Uher!

Wouldn't that be fantastic, as well as the original audio the patches were created with for additional context.Compyfox wrote:Nah, ask Steven first.
