Sure, thanks for offering to reproduce it.Trancestorm wrote:havnt noticed, could you explain me? that i can test it here?soundpalace wrote:I must admit that the sustain pedal problems are quite a pain. Reveal Sound,is there any chance you can repair them please?
Here are exact steps which I have tested today which reproduce the several problems with the sustain pedal in Spire. These exact tests were tried on Sylenth1, Zebra2 and Spire. Spire is the only one of the 3 which acts in this erratic way.
1. Create a new instance of Spire and hit the INIT button
2. Start holding down a note on your keyboard
3. While holding down the note press the sustain pedal
4. Still while holding down the note, release the sustain pedal
Expected Result: Note continues playing since it is being held down
Actual Result: Pedal up releases all notes, even those still being held down
5. Enable the ARP
6. Hold down a few notes
7. While holding down the notes, press the sustain pedal
Expected Result: The arp would continue playing as long as the sustain pedal was held down. Note lengths should remain exactly as they were without the sustain pedal held down.
Actual Result: The arp continues playing but length of notes in arp are now made infinite and start overlapping heavily.
8. Release the notes while continuing to hold down the sustain pedal
Expected Result: Arp continues playing
Actual Result: Arp stops playing and you are left with sustained notes
I reproduced this issue on both Cubase 6.5.5 and Presonus Studio One 2.6 using the VST x64 version of Spire 1.0.1.
I'll email these steps to Reveal Sound too.
Cheers
