If you're in Australia, you should meet 3 great musicians/bands:

"Midnight Juggernauts" and "Gotye" (Melbourne) and "Sneaky Soundsystem" (Sydney).

If you have enough time, look for AC/DC and Kylie Minogue...

even if 600$ for a didgeridoo are excessive for me. in any case i'll try to contact someone and i hope to find something "not so tourist"

What he said. If I were you I'd limit my time in Sydney to a day or two and go to Tasmania instead for the rest of the time you planned to spend in Sydney. I say that as someone who lives in Sydney

Also while you're in Australia, be careful of Drop Bears. They look like Koalas, but they are evil.
