May be a "wrapper" problem? VST Package is showing up as a regular folder in my VST folder.

...and yet it still shows up in 32-bit mode.

I had that problem with Aether at first in Live. And it was showing up as a folder in the VST directory too. Try moving it out of your VST folder, loading Studio One, quitting, moving B2 back into the VST folder, then loading S1 again. This worked for Live, it makes it rescan it.audientronic wrote:Recently switched to using Studio One 64 bit on the Mac. Noticed 2C-B2 (previous release version) was not showing up, only showed up in 32-bit mode. Just updated to the latest build, AU shows up but VST is not there. Anyone else having this problem? Thoughts? Thanks...

Is there a way to force rescan the plug in Studio One? Can you try it?audientronic wrote:Recently switched to using Studio One 64 bit on the Mac. B2 64bit showing up fine in Studio One 2.6 here.
Are you sure you removed all formats completely (VST, VST3 if there is, AU) and loaded Studio One, then quite and put them back and loaded again?
I've had plug-ins mysteriously re-appear in Studio One after disappearing from the S1 browser.

I can't see why I would need to pull the AU. I will try again, but that still wouldn't explain why the VST is showing up as a folder instead of a plug-in package. That's got nothing to do with Studio One.Echoes in the Attic wrote:B2 64bit showing up fine in Studio One 2.6 here.

I do notice that it is missing the PkgInfo file.

Well... added the PkgInfo file from the old B2 vst. Now my Mac sees it as a Plugin, but still no show in Studio One. Removing it and putting it back not working. Restart not working.

Okay... Here was the solve for me.
You have to reset the blacklist in Studio one. At the Start Screen of Studio One, go to Preferences, choose Locations, and then click the "Reset Blacklist" button. It will ask you if you want to rescan at Startup. Say yes. If it doesn't ask there's a tic box for that above the blacklist button. Quit and re-open and it appears. Don't know if the other step of adding the PkgInfo file is necessary.
Previously I was rescanning by right-clicking in the plug-ins folder and choosing "Refresh". I guess that function doesn't really work.
@Galbanum and Echoes: Thanks for the help!

Hi
I installed B2 1.2.0b (note: the installer stopped at mid-way, so i had to do manually), works in Studio One 2.5, Live 8.5, not in Live 9.05,
Breeze 1.2.0b : installed since 8/8 - works in Studio One 2.5, Live 8.5, not in Live 9.05.
I was planning upgrading my Aether 1.5.1 (which works in Live 9.05, and Studio One 2.5) > last build, but if the upgrade doesn't works in Live 9, it useless to me since i work a lot with them. But i need now to move completely to Live 9.
Does this mean all recent build of 2-Audio 64x are not fit for Live 9 ?
Should i downgrade B2 and Breeze to 1.0.0 to get them working ? Missing all the new stuff ?
A bit disappointed...
Windows 8, 64 bit - 16mg ram - i7-3630QM
Any clue ?
Thanks

Minor issue, similar to one that used to be there before: The drop down box for the presets does not update the checkmark beside the folder of the current presets. This used to happen to the quality drop downs (nano/low/high/xtrm) as well, but that's fixed now. Just the preset box doesn't update properly.

We have no problems with Live 9 here at our end: 64/32 VST/AUpwauman wrote:

Some people have mentioned they had issue previously and it was somehow magically resolved. Perhaps someone can comment?
Can you force Live to rescan the plug-in? Is there some kind of black-list that can be reset?

What do you mean "Doesn't work". It doesn't show up in your VST list in Live? Just remove it completely, load up Live, then quite, put the plug-ins back and load Live again. That forces rescan properly.pwauman wrote:Hi

In Live one can rescan the plugins. If you press the Alt key while hitting the rescan button, it does a forced re-check. It helped me with a "disappeared" plugin once (mind you this is on OS X, but here's presuming that it's the same for Windows).Galbanum wrote:We have no problems with Live 9 here at our end: 64/32 VST/AUpwauman wrote:

There's no blacklist in Live that I'm aware of.
