Hey guys, any suggestions for a plugin synth that sounds similar to the real thing? Don't really want to spend my money on a real synthesizer just yet (obviously). I'm currently using DCAM Synth Squad and Sylenth1. I get pretty nice sounds using them but was just wanting to know what other people use apart from those two. Thanks (:

For free, Tyrell N6 and Charlatan are supposed to sound like analogue synths.

I use Korg Mono/Poly, XILS 3 le, Mojito and Noise Maker (free) for analogish kind of sound.

Its not entirely analog (its an emulation of a hybrid with digital oscillators and analog everything else), but there's also impOSCar2.

Monark is great, but you can do so much more with Diva.

Also Retrologue is a nice option too.

Great for retro sounds, and you get a lot for what you pay.

I'll also echo Diva and TyrellN6.

Mojito is very nice... (for a simple synth).
