Hmm seems kind of iffy.. how do you know apple won't be storing your fingerprints now..

Even if they do , which they say they won't

And even if they then share them with authorities which they say won't happen

It still won't matter unless your fingerprints are found someplace where they shouldn't be which of course they never would be

So whats the worry?

Y'all forgot your tinfoil hats today AGAIN?

I'm gonna wait till iPhone 6 or the 6S. The 5 will be more then enough for a couple of years here. Although I do love new gadgets so...

Why should I care if the NSA spies on all my email and phone calls, I'm not a terrorist....

I've been waiting all my life for this "Jetson's" space age doo-dads. I'll be damned if I'm not gonna take full advantage of it.

I do know I will have fun trying to crack the fingerprint code though.

Anyone who thinks the government is watching them needs an ego check... or a spell check.
I'm not sure which.

'scuse me while I get my tinfoil hat.

I have an iPhone 4 now and it's OK, but once my contract is up next summer, I'll probably go back to an Android phone. But, we'll see. At the rate technology is advancing, I just may opt for the smartphone chip direct brain implant. Oh, but wait, maybe the government will be able to read my thoughts... :-o

You people need to start joining the dots.

In the UK, insurance companies are starting to use mobile phones to track car journeys as a voluntary way to reduce premiums for careful driving. You can put money on this being mandatory at some point in the future.

Your phone can also be used to replace your bank card.

Your phone is literally infested with facebook if you have an account.

And now your phone may need your fingerprint to work.

Your phone is fast becoming the ID card none of you wanted. Whether you're doing something wrong or not really isn't the issue.

Meh, I'm more concerned that someone will come out with an app that lets my boss know how much time I spend on KVR when I'm at work.

I bought a laptop from my girlfriend's sister a few years back, it had fingerprint locking. First thing I did was deactivate it. Totally pointless. Just give me a simple passcode, It's enough.

My question was a rhetorical/sarcastic comment -I agree with you.
