I have no idea what you're on about. You came in this thread spouting incorrect things, right. And I just gave you the facts.

News today say that analysts in general found the new iPhones disappointed, the "cheaper" moel still very expensive, and the more expensive model adding not enough to be really considered "new". In the end, Apple shares lowered. The poll results here somehow reflect this sentiment too. Apple is repackaging the same thing over and over, adding just a couple of features, and calling it new (let aside all the very justified security concerns).

Excellent source!
I guess we then can just blow off e.g. that apps are sending and storing all your contacts and their information, without your permisison.

What. You have full control over that stuff. Apps can't get to your contacts without asking for permission (you can also adjust permissions on a per app basis under iOS settings at any time). If a malicious app does slip past the app review process, report it to Apple and it'll get pulled.BMoore wrote:Excellent source!

Sorry to interrupt the debate on unfounded paranoia's, but Tuaw has a cool article about how galvanic response actually works. It's not the surface of your skin... Nice read.

I'll say it again. If you think the government cares about you in anyway, check your ego.

Well, that's where you're wrong. You need to post less and read more.chris1a wrote:What. You have full control over that stuff. BMoore: As I said, you can _very_ easily contact Apple via apple.com if you think your phone is sending out data without your knowledge.
Edit: Man this thread really brought out some weird views, thoughts, lies, people and aliens. Fun stuff

You're like a giddy 14 year old, in almost everything you do on KVR, so I'm ending this with you right now.

BMoore: Nothing to end really. I'm just giving you some unclouded facts, and help on how to manage your iDevices privacy settings. Don't know what you're on about (but it's always something

Please tell me where the setting is that prevents the NSA from receiving the data, because last time I checked there are privacy settings on just about everything, but they also still have access to all of it. My advice to you is to not be so naive thinking things don't get transmitted, or that the government doesn't have access to it just because you turned on some privacy setting.chris1a wrote:BMoore: Nothing to end really.
