Blue Cat's MB-7 Mixer 2.02 is now officially available!

New Features:
- Added support for plug-ins bundled into a VST Shell.
Bug Fixes:
- Some plug-ins used to crash when reloading a Pro Tools session in Pro Tools 11 (this was reported for Kontact 5 for example).

After playing with the demo for 10 minutes I bought it. It's just brilliant. Narrowing the stereo image in the bass and at the same time saturating the highs. Why on earth didn't anyone think of this sooner.

Host Sync (for delay, etc), VST3, linear phase option and the ability to use sidechain for the inserted plugins would make it perfect.

Oh, why not a search function for the vst-plugins

Why not, indeed

. Right now you can already use your operating system's built-in search to search the VST folder. Not the most convenient I agree, but not the worst method either...

One thing I'd like is a "Show Editor" button on the top layer of the MB-7 GUI instead of in a clickable drop-down ie anything to reduce the number of clicks to get to see the hosted GUI.

Would this be possible with a new skin?

External sidechain for vst please and version with brighter UI (something whiteish)...if possible?

This is indeed in our plans to add this to the plug-in. It was just quicker to use a single menu for the first release. Still thinking heavily to find the best way to add buttons for plug-ins without cluttering the user interface, which is already full of features...

Can you please elaborate the problems it is causing for you? We are in touch with them for Mac issues, so we may need more details if they also have problems on Windows.

Just got some feedback from FabFilter on this one. It is a bug between us and them and we have a fix for it (same bug as the crash on Mac). It will be included in our next update!
