I promise it will be worth your time.
I installed the demo and tbh, I wasn't that impressed. :(

I have ohmboys and RP Delay. Maybe there isn't anything better at the moment???

I think FabFilter Timeless and FXpansion Bloom are quite cool, unique delays, too.

Did you follow the Lush-101 conversation when it was released? A good deal of it revolved around complaints that the UI was too big (because they put everything on a single panel). Just can't win no matter what.
At KVR no one wins.

'Better' is of course highly subjective, but PSP has some pretty cool delay/echo stuff in case youre looking for alternatives. (Not exactly cheap though, Echo costs 99 and the others 149.) Flagship seems to be the 608MD.

Tried Bloom and tried to like it. But no filters in the feedback signal? Or somthing like that.

Timeless I am going to re try. I like ff stuff.

Does anyone have a more specific release date for Sigmund than mid-September? No additional info is available on the d16 site.

Tried EARebound - seems pretty powerful but rather expensive for what it does.

Tried Bloom and hated it - sound was way too sharp and nasty.

Uhe MFM wasn't to my tastes either - too complicated for what I was looking for.

Tried the Timeless 2 demo and it is superb - however for some reason it is the source of CTDs in Ableton Live 9 for me.

So far I've decided I may as well just use my Reaktor based delays but this may provide something else of interest.

When it comes to delays Lennard is definitelly the winner :hihi:
No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

Audio Damage's Dr. Device is my current favorite. It has a filter plus distortion and a bit crusher in the delay line. It's great for noisy, crazy sounds. The GUI is strange but it works very well. The X-Y position of moving pucks are used instead of LFOs.

I have been thinking about Ronin. What I want is a smooth sounding delay that will do feedback kinda like in this MBM track:

So noisy / crazy is not what i'm after. Timeless 2 seemed like the easiest to get a nice smooth result but the incongruous crashing was a problem.

Audio Damage specializes in rough sounds with "personality" rather than smooth. Nevertheless, if you don't turn up the saturation, bit crusher, or resonance, Dr. Device can be fairly smooth.

I also have Timeless 2. I use it sometimes but it's not my favorite. The filters seem digital and bland to me. I mostly use it when I want a transparent delay.

When is this being released? Didn't they say mid-September?

It will not be much longer, not sure exactly when but they're just working out the last few details.
Looking forward to this one. Timeless 2 and ohmboyz are currently my favorites and it looks like Sigmund will be a nice addition.

man I must have weird taste - I thought that GUI is gorgeous! Very 80s hi-fi equipment vibe (yes, I am a child of the 80s..)

it will all come down to price - I have been so burned by all these license transfer fees I didn't know about so I am going to think long and hard before buying any new plugins. Before I was always "well I can always onsell the license if I don't like it".

If this is well under $100 I will consider it. Everyone should take a leaf out of Valhalla's model...awesome value

Try giving U-he Satin a test! It is an excellent tape based delay.
